A New Post After a Long, Long Wait, My Download Speed Sucks Again And Tropicana Mall

Yes, finally, mid-term is OVER! I repeat, it's freaking over! This calls for an extreme celebration! I will burn the school! Bomb the mall! Devour the school which I already burned! Err, maybe not that. But the fact is I WILL ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS!

Yes, I googled it. Deal with it.

Anyways, this is the calm before the storm (more like disaster...) for I have a very, very bad premonition (bombastic word, yes!) about my results. Yes, I admit I did not study enough. Why was I so lazy? I keep asking that myself. Probably the genes in me.

Ironically, the subject which I have feared the most last year will be my best this year, for it'll be the only subject that I am 100% confident that I will get A+. I already got 58 for my Biology (It's a C I think, or a B-), and my add maths teacher already told me that my marks are NOT good. I am so screwed.

But enough of that; what's done is done. I am screwed and so be it.

So, the holidays are coming, and I am still not sure of my plans then. I might be going back to hometown, maybe not. It's not that I want to go back, but I feel like spending time here, cause I am wishing that I am able to hang out with my friends. Other than that, there are lots and lots of projects to finish. Hopefully we'll finish it before the holidays. But before that, GAMES, HERE I COME!

In other news, my download speed was suddenly reduced to crap. I am not joking; it took me more than 2 hours to finish downloading one episode of Ao no Exorcist, which is just about 252 MB. That is freaking long. I hope whatever sickness my modem is having, she'll get cured soon. (Yes, it's a 'she')

So, today a friend of mine, Eunice, went with me to Tropicana Mall because there was an anime convention there, or the fifth C2AGE, to be exact. It was fun there. There were lots of events, anime things to self and of course, cosplayers! We actually took some time to point out who belongs to what character in which anime. Of course, we saw some game characters. Counter-terrorist, anyone?

This was early in the morning when I just arrived. Looks deserted.

It's the C2AGE car!

A man checking the instruments to make sure they are ready for the performance later.

Anime!!

The checker board.

COUNTER STRIKE!!

The C2AGE car, up-close.

There was a stage where they sang some Japanese song, most of which I don't know (not otaku enough, sadly), unfortunately. Then, there was anime-character checkers, where some cosplayers were used as human-chess pieces, or checker-pieces, whichever you prefer. We get to see Wrath from Fullmetal Alchemist triple kill with his sword play, too. Other than that, there was an event where some people went on-stage to perform some interesting things, from Warhammer 40K to Starwars and Yu-Gi-Oh (Hey, you get to see a man covered in cards. He looks ridiculous. Bad guys usually do).

Orochimaru versus some random girl. Guess who won? Hint: The snake ate the girl.

The game just starting.

A band performing Again by Yui. Note the horse-headed man at the drums.

Of course, I bought 2 anime DVDs, Mitsudomoe and World Destruction (Not really sure about the latter, but hey, it's just RM 5!) and 2 badges, one of Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid and Dead Master from Black Rock Shooter, both of which are RM 5. Other than that, my mum was kind enough to buy me a Fairy Tail cup. HOORAH! Oh, don't forget the Counter Strike players there, and their complaints of how lag the computers were.

Eunice and I also went a little walk around from Borders to some music shop (sorry, I can't remember the name). She bought some SNSD sticker-thingy which in my opinion was a bug waste of money. And no, I am not a Kurt Cobain fan, Ian Zhan is. He's a fanatic!

Besides the anime convention, Eunice, Vincent and I also went to watch Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides. One word for that show: AWESOME! It was much better than its first 3 films, in my opinion, and was still as funny as the previous 3. The storyline was rather interesting and unpredictable, so for those who have not watch it, GO AND WATCH IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

That was pretty much what we did most of the day. Eunice had to go back at 2.30, and Vincent at about 3, although in the mean time we still had the chance to walk around the convention to admire the cosplayers. (Counter-terrorists win!)

That was pretty much what we did there before my parents came and I had to go back. Oh well, I hope I can go to the next C2Age next year. And watch Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. Yes, I'm obsessed with it. And also obsessed with anime. And other movies. And games. And Starcraft. And my MPH card. I am prone to blabbering it seems. Oh well, makes me unique.
